I wouldn't play spoons with her
Brita has some deadly fingernails on her lately. She swiped me across the face the other day and it really hurt. Like mother like daughter, I guess. We went up to school and a guy from Ukraine saw us and came to meet Brita. She grabbed his hand and dug her fingernails into him. He said that I must not be looking after her. Oh well, at least she doesn't scratch herself. I have cut her nails since then too.

My boys' fingernails grow so fast that I would have to cut them twice a week to keep them from painful scratching. I'm not willing to do this. Noah got Hyrum on the face, next to the nose. I hope it doesn't scar.
Leah did scar Daniel two years ago. He has a faint curved line running about 2" down the side of his face. But Daniel's nail grow incredibly fast! I can hardly pin him down to trim them. I did yesterday (because I was finally past embarrassed and entering mortified) and found his thumbnail longer than mine!
