D&C -- Disposals and Clogs

We don't have any clogs in our apartment. I'm grateful. We do have a bathroom sink that drains incredibly slowly, but that's because the stopper is too low. Anyways, just thought I'd post about sinks that don't drain well.. :)

We've had to have a plumber come out and unstop our washing machine drain - three times now. I don't know why we have this problem.

So, speaking of slow draining sinks, I was at the church on Wed night for New Beginnings to serve and clean, and the sinks there are horrible. The three would back up every time I tried to drain one, so I ended up using a plunger a lot more than I would like to. Then, I asked Bishop McNabb (since he's the agent bishop), to please get a garbage disposal - and he quoted me some scripture from the D&C about thou shalt not install garbage disposals, etc. . . I thought I'd read the whole D&C, and I don't remember that particular verse, but who knows. . .I just don't plan on ever volunteering again.
