Yesterday Brita was rubbing her eyes, so I asked if she was tired. She said yes. I told her I was tired, too, so she started to rub my eyes for me.
We have had a crazy last few weeks.
We went and visited my parents, which was really nice. I like being home. We left from here Thursday at noon and Peter still got overtime that week. We stayed until Sunday after church. I mostly sat around doing nothing, but Peter did a lot. He started on a website he’s working on for my dad and helped Dad with his computer questions. And he figured out what was wrong with Mom’s computer. And he drew an elephant for Pamela. It was fun to be there.
Then we went on vacation. Peter’s great-great grandfather’s family reunion was last week in Michigan. We spent a week up by Lake Michigan. The big family reunion was Saturday and Sunday and then we just got to hang out with Peter’s family for the rest of the week. It was really nice. We did lots and lots of things. We climbed sand dunes and toured a lighthouse and picked flowers and lots more. We also did a few puzzles.
We came home on a Saturday (the 15th--this is why I shouldn't write blog posts and not post them--all the days get off). On the Thursday before my sister and her family came to our house. Scott is fixing our house for us. So we got home to a new countertop in the kitchen. He did the backsplash and painted the living room and kitchen, too. Katrina took the kids to Thanksgiving point on Tuesday and on Wednesday we went to the zoo. I shouldn’t go to the zoo. I think I have officially become the mean and grouchy aunt.

Put pictures up of the kitchen!!!
P.S. Brita looks so different! What a big girl! But how are you?
As soon as we get the kitchen clean enough to get pictures of, I'll put some up. It's not totally finished because Scott ran out of time, but it's pretty.
Brita is getting so big. So am I. I feel bigger and bigger everyday. Other than not really being able to bend over and being really tired I'm doing great!
Oh--I was thinking about going down to Thanksgiving point this Tuesday for their $2 day and was wondering if you wanted to come too.
I'd love to Andrea, but I'll have to decline this time.
Thanks anyway.
