Anybody know what to do when all the thread just accumulates down in the bobbin area and gets all messed up when you're trying to sew? It also does that thing where there's tons of thread on the bottom side of the fabric getting all nasty and the top thread is normal looking. It's kind of to the point where it can't even sew, though, because of the problem I mentioned first. And I know I've fixed it before, but it's frustrating and I just want someone to tell me what to do.
So tell me what to do, okay?

Its probably a threading or tension problem.
Clean out the bobbin case first. If you have to, remove the cover that holds the bobbin casing to get all the thread out and clean all the lint stuff out too.
Then re-thread your machine making sure that the thread is in the take-up lever and between the tension disks correctly.
Then check the tension. If the tension is too low it could cause looping. (This is a common problem at my house when I have lots of "help" sewing.)
Let me know if that doesn't fix the problem-we can try something else.
My sewing machine does that when it gets dusty/list inside...at least cleaning it out seems to help. (Probably because it is a tension problem Katrina suggested, and re-threading the machine really is what fixes it.)
Good luck!
I don't know much about sewing machines, but I'll suggest either a jigsaw or a rubber mallet. If neither of those do the trick, a circular saw with a ripping blade pressed against the bobbin will, I predict, end all your woes. You are unlikely to ever see thread accumulation after that.
