I usually don't read series until they're complete. I usually don't read uber popular books. But holy cow I cannot wait until Mockingjay comes out. I don't even really like The Hunger Games books. It's just that I read them and then can't help but think about them for weeks. And then I start thinking about them months later. I hope I never read them again, but I don't have to because they are still totally vivid.
So do me a favor*--read Hunger Games and Catching Fire. They're good books. And then you can be miserable waiting with me.
