The End is Near

So a long, long while back I volunteered to scan all my parents pictures for them. I never got around to doing it like everything else in my life. One reason my mom wanted them scanned is because she had some on loan from my grandma, who doesn't usually let things like that out of her sight. I did some, but didn't really make even a small dent on it.

Well, today I found out that Mom is going down to visit Grandma next Monday. So I need to get the pictures done before that. But Mom isn't stopping here on her way down, so I need to have them done before Saturday when she and my dad are coming down. That's a lot of scanning to do.

Wish me luck. Or volunteer to watch my kids for me. ;) Just kidding.

This is the picture that made me volunteer for this project. This is probably my favorite picture of all time. It's my great grandpa sticking ice down my grandpa's shirt. I have loved this picture since the first time I saw it.
