Kima

So I don't know if any of you we remember the kima we had last time Monica was out, but rack your brains because you need to. I was wondering if there were any objections to having it again for this reunion. Let me know if anyone would prefer not to have it. Here's the recipe for it.

Kima
1 lb. ground beef or tofu, cubed 1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced 1 1/2 t. curry powder
1/2 t. salt dash of pepper
1 T. Kikkoman soy sauce 2 potatoes, diced
2 carrots, diced 1 stalk celery, diced
1 c. frozen peas 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes
Brown beef and onions. Drain. Add seasonings and vegetables. There is very little
liquid but don’t worry. Simmer until potatoes are done. Serve in a bowl over rice and
top with a dollop of sour cream.

It's from Peter's Mom's cookbook online, which is here:

There's lots of good stuff there. Including the recipe I promised I'd send Melissa over two months ago. There you go, Melissa.

Let me know what you think if you're going to be there. If not, you can still let me know what you think. :)

I'm honored to be the memorable addition to the family reunion!

I think I'll have to try it! Alas, I will probably have to make it for myself.

The reason we are coming Friday night instead of Saturday morning is because Mom said you were making this! I am looking forward to that moment:) Kelly
