You only turn five months old once in your lifetime. So, to make this day special for Brita, we made a pineapple upside-down cake. She was so excited she jumped right in and started eating. Hello solid food number four.
Speaking of lying about ages - I've decided that I'm okay with staying 30 for the next 20 years or so, just in case you're wondering why my date of birth on the family calendar keeps changing!
How is it that no one even mentioned the giant leather whip hanging off of the high chair? Do these other people know something about you that I don't? (And by now I'm sure you can tell that I'm catching up on your life for the last couple of years.)

She looks like she's been eating with a fork her whole life! What a pro.
Good job, Brita! You're so talented - not just a very pretty face ;)
Wow! Isaac just figured out that you can actually use a fork to EAT with a few months ago. :o)
I want a celebration with pineapple upside down cake! How about "I'm a month past my 28th birthday"?
You are not a month past your birthday. How about a "I'm lying about my age" party? :)
I'll make the cake; you can come eat it.
Not lying about my age - just giving you time to prepare!

Do you want to come to Melissa's party, Monica? Sounds like you'll fit right in. :)
Like I'd ever turn down cake - count me in!
