I love my sling

I bought a baby sling a while ago. I really like it. It's so nice to be able to have two hands to do things. I might have already mentioned this, but I thought I'd do it again even if I already did. And to be quite honest, I don't remember if I blogged about it before and I'm too lazy to go back and check. Anyways, it's a Maya Pouch and it's so comfortable. At least for the first couple of hours of wearing Brita. I usually wear it to church so that Brita can sleep through church, which she does sometimes. Random people come up and ask me about it. At church people point me out as the one that wears the baby sling. At least I'm known for something, right? Ok, that's all about that.

I meant to bring pictures from Easter and post them for you all to see. But I didn't. Maybe I'll remember to bring them to the library tomorrow. I just thought I'd let you know what you almost got to see today. :)

New Nephew

I have a new nephew. I'm so excited. I was just thinking that we needed a Jacob in the family. And then we got one. Good job, Katrina. Jacob Shawn Laird is a great name. Happy day, happy day. He was an Easter baby, too.

In related news, Brita is now officially in 3-6 month clothes. This is not due so much to size as the fact that we'll be sending all her semi-boyish clothes off to Jacob. Fun, fun.
