I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be easier than this.

This whole two kids thing is kicking my trash. Just so everybody knows. Especially with a sick husband. Of course that sick husband is taking Brita to the library to return a movie, so at this moment I'm just incompetently mothering one rather than two.

Maybe it will be easier in about thirty years, but then, if they're like me, they'll be calling me up because their husband is out of town and they can't handle two kids by themselves. Oh wait, I did that with one kid, too.

And then there's dinner. Lets not even go there. I seldom do go there, actually.

Whoa Nellie.. This post should probably be deleted. It won't be, though--there's got to be something to look back on if I have a third kid. Just imagine several more paragraphs of one-handed whining and we'll call it good.

The end.

SIGH!!!! I am there with you! It is rough! Wow, it is nearly 9:00 and my kids are begging for breakfast...mommies never get to rest.
But aren't those kids just so darn cute! Their smiles make it worth it.
The older Brita gets, the more helpful she will be. (Stephen just changed a diaper and got his brother dressed for me...and now he is chasing down the other brother.
(Wow, am I lazy or what...kids working and being so grown up this morning while I comment on blogs.)
Alright, they want pancakes for breakfast, I will not let them near the stove without me there.

I'm doomed! But I agree with Sherry, the older Brita gets you'll have extra hands to help you out.

Andrea, don't be so hard on yourself..I look back and wonder how I survived and then I read your blog and get a chuckle out of it. You will too some day. It does get easier but not for awhile. Just take one day, one task, one moment at a time. You'll make it....I Promise. :O)

Next time, have Peter take both kids to the library. There are only a few things us husbands are any good at.

yeah. I've got one, and a healthy husband, and ask me how often I make dinner. When was the last time? Can't even remember. And I'm still SO tired!
