I promise I don't beat my child
Yesterday Peter helped his brother and his brother's wife move. Brita and I were hanging out at their apartment and watching them load the truck and stuff. As I was carrying Brita down the sidewalk I fell off the side and totally biffed it. Stupid Andrea. Unfortunately, Brita got the worst of it. I got a bruised and skinned knee and a skinned finger. Brita got a bruise on her head and a really, really scraped arm. A nice man that was helping with the move took Brita and me to his apartment and he and his wife patched Brita up.
Here's what her arm looks like a day after.

Poor Brita! I'm glad she is doing fine now. The next step is to make sure that Brita learns that personal pronouns being used as direct objects need to be in the objective case rather than in the nominative case ("took Brita and me" not "took Brita and I").
: ^)
I guess that's what I get for having your son proofread my post. Mistakes being past down from one generation to the next. :)
I have been know to fall and biff it before. But to use a personal pronoun incorrectly? Never.
Oh that is too bad. My oldest always biffed on his head we used to call it the injury magnet.
I laughed at the posts after wards though. I am sure I am wrong, but I thought it was right. I thought if you take Brita away then it needed to make sense you wouldn't say the man took I to his apartment instead the man took me to his apartment, but I know nothing. I always did better in math.
See blogs are good, you continue you education right in the privacy of your own home.
That is a nasty scrape, I hope you are both recovering.
Jenny--You were right, it's right now.. I edited the post after I got the correction from Peter's dad.
That's it. Monica just pointed out the typo in the comment I wrote. I guess I should hire a professional proofreader. Maybe it's a good thing Monica's job is ending soon.
Poor Andrea and Brita! Hope you both are 100% now.
