I went to the grocery store today to buy strawberries and cream. I also got cookies and some medicine. The bagger (who seemed a little bit challenged) was new so a manager was telling him what to do--I was just kind of listening to it on the side as I was paying attention to the checker. Then I hear the manager say, "She has more stuff so just put that in another bag." And the bagger say, "Oh I'll just give it to her now." So I automatically put out my hand (not knowing what to expect), he puts the medicine in it, and I put the medicine in the pocket of my hoodie, and everyone goes on like nothing out of the ordinary happened. Until I get out of sight, then I start laughing. It just struck me as really, really funny.
Maybe it wasn't.
Here's Brita eating one of my more-than-50%-off super-yummy cookies.

And now Monica needs to vacuum her floor.
