My Daughter is Average

We just got back from the doctor. Brita's height and weight are average and her head is in the 40th percentile.

She got five shots and a vaccine in the mouth. The one in the mouth she really liked. The others it took her a minute to realize they hurt so they were over by the time her face got all squished up and bright red and she started to scream. So then I picked her up and she was fine. What a brave little girl.

Then she slept when we came home so I could do the dishes. See, she's thoughtful, too.

Now we just have to go to the post office and we'll be done with errands for the day. (I never thought I would be a person who did errands. It always seemed like old responsible people were the errand runners of the world.)
These are of Brita when we got back.

Brita, you have to start fighting back NOW! Average is not for you. Average is mediocre, and we don't do mediocre. Rise above!

Average is good! We're doing good to get into the 25th percentile in this family! I like it when the babies get shots and sleep for the afternoon. Is that bad of me?

Is sleeping all afternoon normal? Good to know--I was starting to get worried.

Sleeping after shots is normal? There are some things I shouldn't know I've missed in my life - like napping babies.
